Imagine putting on your own private two day festival surrounded only by your closest friends and family in the middle of the desert. That is what Charlie & Emily did to celebrate their epic union! Secluded in the heart of Joshua Tree, with absolutely no cell service to be found, the couple and their guests were completely immersed in a weekend filled with music, food, meditation, and love. The festivities began with a “rehearsal dinner” that was more like a private concert/ the most emotional and epic open- mic night ever. The guests were treated to performances from the bride, spoken word, poetry readings and incredible music. The folk band performance was followed by a guided meditation to bring everyone into the present moment, a common theme throughout the weekend. They kicked off the wedding day with a Mind Travel Morning event. Transformational music meditation, in the form of live piano, played through the guest’s silent disco headsets as they basked in the middle of Joshua Tree surrounded by boulders and morning sun. Movement was encouraged, tears were inevitable. This put everyone in the perfect headspace to enjoy the ritual Jewish ceremony, taking in the stunning view as the winds of Joshua Tree spoke to everyone. The couple exited in style with a four-piece Klezmer Band playing them out as they rode off in a vintage car. Then came the raging reception! Emily and Charlie truly thought of everything, from art installations, desert yurts, even a weed bar. The not one, but two DJs put everyone in the party mood as the crew danced under the stars until morning.
