Cassie and Michael’s wedding day was filled to the brim with so much love, beauty, laughter and straight up fun that it quickly became one of our favorite weddings we have ever had the opportunity to shoot. Cassie and Michael have this effortless and classic old hollywood vibe about them that they tied in so perfectly with their epic venue, Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. After a sun soaked ceremony on the bluffs we snuck the couple away for some photo magic with a vintage Mercedes and a gorgeous long veil. Can we also please take a second for Cassie absolutely killing it in that Galia Lahav dress.

Cassie and Michael are massive movie lovers and classic soundtracks are their top music of choice. Throwback…when we shot their engagement session in their home, Micheal strolled over to the record player and chose none other than the soundtrack from Armageddon to set the vibe. It was perfect. So we weren’t surprised when they entered their reception to the theme song of Jurassic Park. Duh! 🙂 Speaking of surprises, the couple choreographed the most insane movie soundtrack montage mashup the world will ever see. Their guests had no idea what was in store for them. Thank goodness our favorite videographers, Grimace Films were there to capture it all.  

The rest of the night was filled with out of this world dancing and everyone singing along to classics like “I’m proud to be an American” and “I’ve had the time of my life.” Once the music had to be shut off, we all stepped into the Silent Disco world and kept the fun going! This dance floor was so wild that we ended up staying later just so we could party with everyone a little longer. *Pics to prove it if you scroll to the end.
