When we had our first meeting with Katie and Stuart and they were describing their wedding venue location, we were pretty excited about how it all sounded. When we actually got there to shoot their engagement session, we were jaw dropped and giddy the entire time. There are greenhouses all over and every single one has a different story to tell. The grounds are lush with vibrant colors and the coolest plant life. Don't even get us started on the cliffside and the private beach. Our faces hurt from smiling the whole time. What's even better than all of that though (I know, what could be better?) is Katie and Stuart. They are the sweetest and most down to earth people and were a total blast to hang with. We are so honored to know them and we are literally counting down the days until their wedding!
With the holidays right around the corner this cozy in home session felt appropriate. We can't even begin to express how much we love getting to peek inside the lives of such wonderful people. It's such a special part of our job to see couples at their most personal and intimate moments. Here are some of our favorites from our time with Jonna, Lee and Remy. <3
What can we say about Mary & Billy!?! We had such a blast getting to know these two (and their pup Lennon). Mary wanted to capture the beauty of Malibu and she loves sunset lighting. We think Malibu Creek was the perfect choice and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day filled with clear skies and gorgeous sunlight.
Did we mention that we are ALWAYS a fan of bringing dogs to sessions! We are both huge dog lovers so when couples ask if they can bring their pup to sessions we immediately know we're going to be a good match. Lennon brought a lot of joy to the shoot and we really believe it's extra special to capture a whole little family!
We are really excited about the images we created with this gorgeous couple. Enjoy!
We can't even explain how adorable and fun Lilly & Alex are together. They loved the idea of walking around and shooting in the city so we figured the Arts District in DTLA was a perfect choice!
Downtown LA is filled with such vibrance and personality. We feel that was perfectly matched with Lilly & Alex's enthusiasm to let loose and get some fun shots! They were more than willing to run across the infamous 4th st bridge (and look effortless as they do it by the way) and dance their hearts out in random alleys.
We cannot wait for their Ebell Club Long Beach wedding next June! Any couple who is willing to dance, run and have fun is our kinda couple! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their session! <3
